As an Electrical Engineer based in San Francisco, California, you’ll be using your design and analysis skills to plan and design electrical systems for buildings and facilities, including mission critical, and institutional projects, as well as provide guidance and leadership on projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Promote a culture of caring, quality, safety and Inclusion and Diversity.
- Serve as technical lead and resource on projects within discipline.
- Carry out the responsibilities of a Lead Engineer on projects or provide technical support / leadership on a project.
- Design and perform calculations for lighting systems and associated controls.
- Prepare load studies, short circuit analysis, and arc flash evaluations.
- Prepare load analysis for different stages of design.
- Prepare drawings detailing the system designed.
- Prepare basis of design reports.
- Prepare and document energy compliance calculations and forms.
- Select equipment and fixtures for use in the building.
- Coordinate work with engineers of other disciplines and architects.
