Understand customer and partner requirements to then efficiently present an end-to-end Cisco networking solution.
Conduct product demonstrations, answer technical questions, contribute to proposals, analyse clients' needs and develop technical solutions in a pre-sales environment.
Work on strategic sales initiatives (customer outreach, Channel training, etc.) to grow business in targeted regions.
Maintain strong interpersonal presentation and troubleshooting skills while evoking passion and confidence with your audience.
Minimum qualifications include:
Proven track record of 8 years + in a pre-sales technical role such as solutions architect, systems engineer, sales engineer.
Hands on experience of Cisco's Networking portfolio.
Proven mastery and experience in IP routing, switching and WiFi - Included in Software Defined Networks
Proven awareness and experience working with cloud services (IaaS, SaaS and PaaS)
Prior experience in network programming using APIs (through Python.)
Preferred qualifications:
Solid understanding and experience in Catalyst Center, SD Access, segmentation, automation and security experience
Knowledge of Sales cycle (MEDDPICC)
Bachelor of Science or Masters of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field required or equivalent work experience.
