You will be responsible for ensuring the onsite experience is optimised for promotional activity. You will work cross functionally to ensure that category teams are engaged on providing relevant promotional inventory at a competitive price and that the marketing teams are engaged on the trade calendar, so that we are set-up to showcase relevant promotions. Additionally you will feed into value led product development, to ultimately answer the question, how can we develop the onsite experience to showcase value better? Then work with our product manager to drive through value led product development.

Partnering with category managers, so they are well aligned on the trading calendar and ensure that the nominated promotional activity is of a good standard.
Facilitate cross functional meetings to ultimately ensure that we execute trading plans as expected
Play a lead role within the horizontal team, ensure that operational processes are followed as best as possible. Act as a point of escalation if required
Coordinate with supporting functions such as marketing and merchandising teams to ensure promotional activities are delivered on time and with impact
Use data to find opportunities to scale and optimise promotional activity further
Strive for operational excellence by optimising processes with a view to improving efficiency and reducing errors.
Understand the eBay customer, and help to instill a customer-first approach within the team and wider business.
Engage with product teams to lobby for developments which will benefit value/promotional activity.
Balance trade-offs between business needs and technical constraints, gaining consensus from partners along the way.
What you will bring ...
We would love to hear from you if you have strong project management experience with an ability to build & implement operational plans as you will be required to co-ordinate & deliver initiatives across different business functions. Ability to work through ambiguity and make decisions based on logical reasoning and/or data insights.
Experience in developing & delivering plans to drive commercial objectives that ladder up towards the achievement of overall company-wide business goals is key. Plus an ability to build and sustain relationships across all functions and levels in an organisation, to ensure flawless integration and execution of plans.
Self-sufficient action and results orientated, you will make data driven decisions to get results. Confident with spreadsheets, you will have a phenomenal eye for detail and be comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
