Key Responsibilities
Define and own the SAP S/4HANA technical architecture strategy, including ABAP development, enhancements, Fiori/UI5, CDS views, and extensibility framework.
Lead custom code remediation, performance optimization, and modernization efforts during S/4 migration.
arealeads (e.g., R2R, P2P, O2C) to convert functional specs into robust, scalable technical solutions.
Guide the development team through coding standards, technical designs, code reviews, and deployment practices.
Design and build APIs, interfaces, and integration logic across SAP and non-SAP systems.
Drive adherence to security, SOX, and audit standards across all development artifacts.
Support test strategy, data conversions, cutover activities, andhypercarefrom a technical lens.
Qualifications
12+ years of SAP ABAP development experience, with astrongtrack record in architecting complex custom solutions.
At least 1 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation, including experience with modern ABAP on HANA, CDS, AMDP, and RAP.
Expertise in S/4 Finance (ACDOCA, Universal Journal), and deep familiarity with custom enhancements inR2R or similar processes.
Hands-on experience with Fiori/UI5, OData services, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is a plus.
Proven ability to lead technical design workshops, manage offshore/onshore development teams, and align with enterprise architecture.
Strong understanding of system performance tuning, code optimization, and transport management.
Familiarity with SAP tools such as SAP ATC, SCI, SPAU/SPDD, and Solution Manager preferred.

The US national annual pay range for this role is $152,500 to $262,350
