You’ll empower engineers to innovate, optimize performance, and deliver precision hardware that meets exacting standards for speed, accuracy, and reliability!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and encourage a team of mechanical engineers to deliver robust designs for highly innovative capital equipment.
  • Own and implement mechanical development activities from concept through release, ensuring alignment with performance, cost, and schedule goals.
  • Architect and validate high-precision components such as optical assemblies, frames, gas.fluid delivery systems, vacuum chambers, thermal systems, and motion assemblies.
  • Collaborate multi-functionally with systems, electrical, controls, optics, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless subsystem integration.
  • Implement and carry out outstanding design practices, including tolerance analysis, FEA, DFM, and GD&T.
  • Mentor and grow engineering talent through hands-on coaching, technical guidance, and career development planning.
  • Review and approve critical design artifacts—3D models, detailed drawings, BOMs, and specifications.
  • Partner with suppliers to source high-quality parts, optimize manufacturability, and resolve technical issues swiftly.
  • Shape and steer long-term mechanical engineering strategy and R&D roadmap for future platforms.
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in ultra-clean or vacuum-based environments (UHV, cleanroom).
  • Familiarity with PLM/PDM tools.
  • Experience in root cause analysis and continuous improvement in a manufacturing or R&D setting.
Why You Should Join:
  • Shape the future of semiconductor technology and impact global innovation.
  • Lead high-impact programs in a fast-paced, ground breaking engineering environment.
  • Accelerate your career with access to outstanding resources, mentorship, and development programs.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; MS/PhD a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience in high-precision mechanical design; 3+ years in a technical leadership or management role.
  • Solid experience in crafting mechanical systems for semiconductor, aerospace, medical, or high-tech equipment.
  • Deep understanding of materials, precision motion, thermal control, and vacuum technologies.
  • Strong command of CAD tools (e.g., NX, Creo, SolidWorks) and simulation software (ANSYS, Abaqus, COMSOL).
  • History of leading intricate projects, deliver results, and elevate team performance.
  • Excellent communicator with a track record of driving multi-functional alignment and influencing team members.
