Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automation scripts for software testing, infrastructure, and business processes.

• Identify opportunities for automation and optimize existing workflows.

• Implement and manage automation frameworks for testing and DevOps.

• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines.

• Monitor automation performance and resolve issues proactively.

• Document automation processes and provide training to relevant teams if necessary.

• Design, implement, and manage APIs for database and caching services.

• Automate database backup and restorations based on business requirements.

• Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure seamless integration of database, caching, API, and storage solutions.

• Troubleshoot and optimize existing automations and infrastructure.

• Monitor and optimize API usage and performance, integrating with existing systems as needed.

• Analyze, optimize and tune database indexes and query performance.

• Provide technical support and guidance on database, caching, API, and storage-related issues to other team members.

• Ensure security standards are followed and complied as per organizational policies and industry standards.

• Create and maintain documentation for automations developed.

Key Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Database Automation on Caching, SQL and NOSQL technologies, hosted on cloud and on-prem platforms.

• Proficiency in any two of Java, Python, C#, Ansible, and Shell scripting languages.

• Strong Understanding of NoSQL databases, distributed systems, and data storage principles.

• Experience with DevOps practices, Version Control (BitBucket/GitHub), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Experience with scripting and automation tools like Terraform.

• Experience with API design, development, implementation, and monitoring.

• Experience with RDBMS, NOSQL and Caching databases, including performance tuning and optimization is an added advantage.

• Experience in both on-prem/public cloud is an added advantage.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent Communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
