Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.

PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

In this role, you will work in a dynamic research environment, be part of a multi-disciplinary team of researchers and software developers, work with popular neural network frameworks, and understand the architecture of Qualcomm’s SOC compute and ML HW accelerators. You will architect, design, develop & test software for machine learning tools and frameworks that enable making models smaller and run efficiently on all edge devices. The successful applicant should have a strong software background, and passion to work on neural network frameworks/libraries. Prior experience developing AI software toolkits would be a big plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years' programming experience using Python required . C/C++ nice to have.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will demonstrate one or more of the following:

• Knowledge of neural networks, with hands-on experience using ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch

• Prior experience contributing to open-source software development projects or customer facing software development projects would be a big plus

• Prior experience developing ML model optimization frameworks

• Experience deploying ML models on edge devices

• Experience developing data pipelines for ML models or ML model training pipelines

• Object-oriented design and development skills

• Debugging and analysis skills, for root-causing complex issues

• Experience profiling software to find runtime and memory bottlenecks and optimizing the same

• Experience with source code and configuration management tools, such as Git

• Previous experience working in an Agile environment, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams

$133,000.00 - $200,000.00
