In this role, you will:- Understand your product technologies several layers deep and be able to clearly communicate them with knowledgable insight - Serve as an ambassador for iPhone and Accessories technologies through press briefings and customer visits - Research and synthesize technology trends, competitive trends, and user feedback to identify new product and technology opportunities
- 4+ years experience in product marketing and/or product management roles, including at least one entire product development cycle from concept to launch
- Proven record working collaboratively with cross-functional teams; with engineering/technical teams including during early research and development to define product strategy and roadmap, and with marketing and public relations to craft positioning, and define marketing activities
- A track record in formulating product messaging and creating outbound marketing; Experience synthesizing technologies into product communication for broad audiences including customers, media, analysts, and leading industry specialists
- Strong understanding of the smartphones and smartphone accessory technology domains and a sense of curiosity to dive several layers deep
- Best-in-class oral and written communication skills; ability to become fluent in technical concepts and explain to non-technical partners
- Strong ability to lead through influence, debate and storytelling
- Press and media experience with success as a product spokesperson on a national or global level
- Exceptional interpersonal skills; thrives in highly collaborative projects, effective at building consensus, handles high stakes decisions with ease with the ability to cut through ambiguity
- Strong analytical abilities and an uncompromising attention to detail with the ability to operate seamlessly between highly detailed and technical situations and strategic business situations
- A self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities
- BS/BA and/or MBA
