Lead Software Engineer (San Jose)

will take a development role in designing and developing backend services and batches using Big Data technologies with GCP leveraging Spring Boot, Spark(Java) Programming and Spark Framework, Kafka, Shell

You will contribute todesigning, coding, testing, push it to live, own the component and improving the performance of the component in live. You will also help with:

• Building highly scalable backend data pipeline with highthruput
• Building batches using Java, Spring Framework which deals paymentsdata
• Building REST services using Spring framework which reads the data from SOR, perform business logic, and expose the output data to client in REST API
• Writing spark job which will read data from backend payments SOR feed into our data pipeline and develop data pipelines in GCP using BigQuery and BigTable.
• Scheduling jobs using UC4,airflow

awith the ability to own their code and work on a broad range of different projects in backend services that mainly deals with payments data. Building, designing, and developing Java Spring batches, mid-tier REST services, Data pipelines (GCP, BigQuery, BigTable and Spark), BigQuery, BigTable tables, build and maintain scalable data pipeline. What we are looking for:

• 6 plus years of overall experience in design and deliver backend and mid-tier services using Spring Boot, REST API, Java, Spark, BigQuery, BigTabletechnologies
• 2 plus years in Design and building highly scalable distributed services
• Strong understanding of real time streaming technologies Kafka, GCP Pub Sub
• Hands on development in data-driven applications using Spring Boot and other relevant technologies.
• Hands-on experience in tuning and writing scalable sql queries in RDBMS (Oracle) and analytical stores
• In-depth knowledge of GCP services (BigQuery, BigTable, Cloud Storage and DataProc)
• Strong In-depth knowledge of Hadoop technology ecosystem - HDFS, Spark, Hive, Impala, HBase, Kafka, Shell Scripting, Oracle and Data pipeline

Preferred Skills

• Experience in NodeJS, React
• Knowledge on Python, machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modelling
• Knowledge on generative AI techniques (LLMs)
• Knowledge on ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras)
