Job Description
Technical Product Support (approx. 80% of time)
- Manage technical enquiries that are forwarded from the TPS team in a timely manner and to their resolution
- Ensure all cases are entered on the CRM platform MAXX correctly. Maintain a close working relationship with the Pharmacovigilance team
- Support the TPS VA lead to update and maintain the Knowledgebase information sharing site
- Be responsible for remaining compliant with the NOAH code of practice as well as pharmacovigilance requirements
- Support the TPS team to ensure they remain compliant with requirements.
- Support the TPS VA lead to develop and maintain the TPS team technical knowledge
- Identify ongoing technical training needs of the team
- Deliver comprehensive in-house technical training at various levels and time points as required to ensure that staff are correctly trained on the small animal products and markets as well as off label advice, where appropriate
- Maintain logs of training that is completed with the TPS team and feedback to the TPS VA lead (and Companion Animal Technical Lead as required)
Technical Team Support (approx. 20% of time)
- Provide a Company technical representation at relevant meetings, congresses and exhibitions to promote the interests of the Company amongst key industry influencers and opinion makers enhancing our Brand profile in the industry
- Identify, build and develop constructive relationships with team colleagues, across the AH business in the UK including but not limited to Technical Team, Sales & Marketing team and TPS
- Active contribution to technical meetings including feedback from TPS
- Identify relevant areas to train the wider technical (and sales) team and deliver this in a timely manner ensuring effective dissemination of technical expertise
- Hold responsibility for the technical accuracy, NOAH compliance and initial sign off of marketing campaigns and materials when necessary
- Support any challenge of perceived breaches of the NOAH code by one of our competitors, and support our response to any incoming challenges
Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required
- A UK-recognised veterinary degree and MRCVS
- Significant experience working within UK Companion Animal First Opinion Practice
- Ability to communicate technical training in a relevant, effective, and engaging format to varied audience members
- Good time-management, project-management and organisational skills
- Ability to brief and manage the relationship with external stakeholders and influencers
- Ability to operate and communicate effectively at various levels, both within and outside of the Company
- Willingness to attend evening and weekend meetings, with occasional overnight stays away from home
