As a Translator in the Audit team, you will support document translation from English to Arabic and Arabic to English.

Your key responsibilities

As a Translator, you will convert written documents, such as financial statements, proposals, feasibility studies and government documents, from one language to another while maintaining the precise meaning of the original text. Translators may specialize in a particular language or in a particular field of work such as law, Audit.

You will study source text to understand the meaning and convert it into another language to convey the original meaning, spirit and feeling, using dictionaries and other sources to determine meanings of words and phrases and to establish their closest equivalent in the target language. You will also revise translations done by others to ensure accuracy.

To qualify for the role you must have

• Bachelor's degree in the English Language or Accounting
• 2 to 5 – years of professional experience in a translator role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
• Fluent, business level English and Arabic speaking and writing skills

• Formal certificate of translation from local governing body
