Looking for Senior Associate and Manager candidates.Responsibilities range from project to project but may include supporting the overall Finance/program strategy, supporting the proposal process, leading the ERP program execution, or leading a workstream (e.g. GL, AP, Fixed Assets, FP&A, Procurement, Sub-ledger, etc). We will leverage your experience from client walkthroughs of their current state finance processes and help you learn how to adapt that into the world of consulting. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across Finance and Technology to deliver for our clients and enhance their Finance function.
Your key responsibilities
- Advise clients on leading practices and considerations with ERP / Finance Transformation programs. Use business process, organizational and technology capabilities and knowledge across several of the following focus areas:
- General ledger / Chart of accounts design
- Financial close, consolidation and controllership activities
- Allocations design and execution
- A/R, A/P, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, AP&A processes / implementation
- Accounting sub-ledgers & Finance data architecture / delivery
- Reporting strategies, tools & processes (potentially SEC, regulatory reporting, GAAP vs Stat, management reporting)
- Cash management / Bank reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliations related to the financial close and controllership activities
- Intercompany elimination processes
- FX revaluation and FX management
- Serve in an execution role to deliver on one or more of the above areas, driving delivery on the end-to-end lifecycle of ERP programs
- Testing coordination and/or involvement on ERP programs
- Program/Project Management of ERP programs and/or workstreams on those programs
Qualifications and requirements
- Insurance accounting / auditing experience and financial process understanding
- SOX walkthroughs of key financial processes, understanding the process and flow of data across those processes and the related accounting considerations
- Record to Report processes / data flow, understanding:
- The process and data flow from source systems (e.g. Policy Admin/Claims) into the General Ledger
- The process and data flow to close the books on a monthly/quarterly basis, including consolidations, intercompany eliminations, Fx translation
- Financial and Regulatory Reporting, including analysis of financials, reconciliations processes, and providing insights to management
- Allocation processes, drivers of allocations, flow of data, and impact to financials
- Procure to Pay processes / data flow, understanding:
- Procurement processes to acquire goods/services, including use of POs, approval processes, and related accounting considerations
- Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including vendor master data, payments processing, and accounting / reconciliation considerations
- Acquire to Retire processes / data flow, understanding:
- Setting up Fixed Assets, depreciation schedules, and related reporting
- Any experience with the ERP packages, notably with either: SAP, Oracle, or Workday
- 3+ years of Big 4 Insurance audit experience
- Ability to manage large teams, including project management skills
- Independent working, ability to self-manage and ambitious nature.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems with a general understanding of the data and technology across the financial processes
- University degree required; master’s degree optional.
- CPA required
- Willingness to travel and work onsite at client locations

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $96,300 to $176,500. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $115,500 to $200,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
