Role: Manager – Digital Delivery
The purpose of the Manager - Digital Delivery role is to lead, at the senior level, a regionally recognised technical discipline within a Solutions Area, delivering innovative solutions that provide superior value to our clients. The Digital Delivery Manager for India reports to the Associate Director – Digital, India, providing leadership to Digital Delivery across India B&I team.
Responsibilities:
· You will provide consistent leadership and role modelling of Jacobs’ core values, fostering an inclusive and diverse culture across India that embodies Jacobs’ Culture of Caring and prioritizes the health and wellbeing of people.
· You will review India projects in collaboration with the Digital Delivery Leadership Team, will be the ambassador to adopt the Jacobs DD frameworks, standards, tools and practices
· You will be the focal point for any BIM related matter in the first instance, escalate to the Technical Directors for BIM (across the regions) as required.
· In this role, you are also expected to have a good understanding of the local & international BIM standards / requirements.
· On projects, you will work closely with Project Managers, Design Managers and Discipline Leads, and inspire them to strive for innovation while maintaining outstanding Digital Delivery.
· You will support Digital Delivery Technical Leaders/ Team members and their learning & development as necessary.
· You will work with valued clients, supporting their digital transformation journeys as necessary, assisting strategic bids, and being a visible leader in the Digital Delivery space from India.
· You will strategically lead Digital Delivery initiatives in India, and will work across markets and disciplines in the DD rollout and adherence
· In your primary role as Digital Delivery Lead, you will lead by example, defining the Digital Delivery implementation on projects, reviewing contracts, resources and budget, supporting projects as necessary: performing project set ups, promoting best practice, using standard tools and improving digital delivery workflows.
· You will contribute to technology and content management in line with Jacobs business’ interests and protecting its intellectual property.
Degree and/or postgraduate qualification – Civil / Mechanical /Architecture.
· Significant consulting experience required including business systems, policies and procedures.
· Software- Digital Delivery Workflows as per ISO 19650 BIM Accreditation Information / Data Management Knowledge of 3D software’s - Civil 3D, AECOsim, REVIT, Tekla.
· Strong communication skills to articulate a clear technical direction with good social, networking and presentation skills.
· Have lead & managed a team of 20+, experienced in all people management and operational responsibilities including career development, utilization, stakeholder engagement etc.
· Significant discipline/ industry presence, recognised and valued by Jacobs clients at the national or international level.
· Recognised internally as an authority able to work with our teams to solve technical problems and achieve a high level of assurance on project deliverables.
· Enhanced technical reputation with Clients regionally and globally through innovative solutions and performance excellence.
· Availability and configuration of technical talent to deliver current and future business needs, including global integrated delivery.
