As anyou will be responsible for configuring, troubleshooting and maintaining network field infrastructure that supports business operations. This position will work with management and staff to identify system needs as well as improve and maintain existing infrastructure and related documentation
We are seeking an ITS Network Deployment Technician, experienced with layer 2 networking to meet the following needs:
- Perform troubleshooting and analysis of connectivity issues
- Maintain configuration files and documentation for all network infrastructure
- Meticulous skill in wire management, labeling, remote site installations
- Support and troubleshoot layer 2 networks of significant size and complexity
- Perform regular updates to network management system
- Act as a key point of contact for system outages, changes, inquiries and requests
- Support the business operations with prompt, effective problem resolution
- Participate in a On-Call rotation
- Excellent documentation skills
- Strong knowledge of common network protocols, packet capture analysis, device deployment
