Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management experience in the e-commerce, internet, or fintech industries
- 3 or more years of experience working in the payments, banking and financial services space
- Track record of working with platform teams to define, build, and maintain highly-scalable, mission-critical systems that support payment acceptance, funding, pricing, billing engine, money movement across rails like ACH, Visa OCT/AFT, RTP, Wire etc.
- Full stack knowledge of building platform, microservice architecture
- Strong analytical skills paired with a data-informed mindset; passion for solving problems (large and small) that result in tangible, measurable results; experience using data and metrics to test hypotheses, validate assumptions and measure success
- Deep customer empathy and curiosity; deeply understands customer experience and pain points using usability studies, customer interactions, experiments, and aggregated feedback from internal customer facing teams
- Continuously tests and learns and leverages customer insights to inform product decisions and recommendations
- Proficient in defining well-thought out user stories, with thorough acceptance criteria and use cases
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; well honed influencing and negotiating skills; proven ability to handle complex and sensitive situations involving competing priorities
