Key Responsibilities:

Lead the engine test efforts through all aspects of the Integrated Product Delivery and Support (IPDS) process, on schedule, on budget and in compliance with all technical requirements.

Act as a mentor and technical leader for the organization.

Broad indirect span of control of approximately 15 full time equivalent engineers.

Cost account manager for assigned scope, including Earned Value Management System reporting. Annual budgetary responsibility approximately $6M.

Escalate effectively with leadership and cross-functionally across the organization

Bias toward creative thinking and innovation in product test and approach to everyday work

Implement design-to-cost and variation-reduction strategies

Manage within very difficult resource constraints

Leads test planning and coordination with the engineering laboratory

Guide and develop early career engineers

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• 10+ years’ engineering experience in design, development, and/or test of complex mechanical system.
