Regulatory Governance SVP

The SVP for Governance of Citibank North America (CBNA)-aligned regulations is a an experienced regulatory professional who has the skills to interpret, develop policy documents and design controls for certain systemically important 'Tier 1' regulations, including OCC Heightened Standards, Safety and Soundness Standards, 12 CFR 5, 12 CFR 7 and Regulation Y. The individual will work in the first line of defense within CBNA's Head Office and should be a compliance professional, attorney or auditor with experience in these regulations. Excellent communication skills required also in order to work across Citibank, with stakeholders are all levels. The role-holder will heavily contribute to the helping to support the governance forums established for the above regulations.Responsibilities:

• Manage effectively key stakeholder relationships across CBNA so that control design for the regulations in scope is optimal

• Lead on supporting the running of governance forums for the regulations

• Lead on the tracking of control effectiveness for the regulations - this includes leading on the strategic built of the oversight of control effectiveness, whilst also being comfortable in reviewing and handling control effectiveness data [good excel skills are needed]

• Communicate to all stakeholders on a timely basis in a clear way.

• Facilitate, coordinate, and arbitrate cross-functional macro level topics with key stakeholders that are pertinent to these regulations

Qualifications:

• Relevant experience and a Juris Doctor, prior Attorney, or legal background is preferred
• 10+ years of legal and regulatory experience, demonstrating a strong ability to craft responses to regulatory inquires and legal matters

• Bachelor’s/Universitydegree or Master’s degree preferred
