As a Networking Solutions Engineer, you will partner primarily with a Networking Account Executive. In addition, you will work with Portfolio Account Teams, Partners and other cross-functional teams to drive Cisco Networking brand preference with our customers.
Your impactYou will work with the Americas Networking Organization as a Solutions Engineer, covering the Enterprise Brazil territory. As part of the interactions with end customers and partners, you will lead RFP response(s), set up demonstrations, drive proof of values, explain features and benefits to customers, and design and configure products to meet specific customer requirements.
Key areas of responsibility include:Driving demand generation activities
Understanding customer requirements and mapping technical solutions to meet the needs
Performing product demo and Proof of Concept (PoC) labs
Minimum QualificationsPre-sales experience
Understanding of competitive networking products such as HPE/Aruba, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet
BS in Engineering (Computer systems, Electronics, Telecommunications or equivalent)
Can work under pressure with minimum supervision.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications5+ years of proven experience sizing and designing Routing, SD-WAN overlay, Wireless and Switching deployments both On-Prem and Cloud Based.
Extensive skills and knowledge in networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, LISP) network segmentation technologies (VRF, MPLS, ZeroTrust, SDA, 802.1x, Adaptive Policy), and network management.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
API and programmability knowledge is a plus
