Execute reliability testing that simulates realistic, accelerated lifetime, and environmental conditions on the battery pack and electrical, mechanical, and thermal sub-systems
Design, build, and instrument setups for battery system and component testing, including test fixtures, harnesses, and test PCBAs
Develop and maintain automation-focused test software to streamline execution, data collection and analysis
Investigate test and field failures to drive product development and test improvement
Work with design engineers, reliability scientists, material scientists, quality, and service to identify failure modes and generate design validation and reliability test plans
Identify and execute experiments targeting new technologies and critical risks to benefit vehicle products
Analyze, document, and present test results to cross-functional teams and leadership
Collaborate with Test Technicians to achieve test objectives
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
Experience with analog and digital circuits and familiarity with basic PCB design and circuit simulation
Hands-on experience with electrical test equipment (e.g., multimeters, DAQs, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and function generators), instrumentation, and measurement techniques
Experience with an object-oriented coding language and scripting (C++, Python, MATLAB, etc.)
Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as datasheets, schematics, drawings, and specifications
Basic experience with hand tools and power tools
An appetite for technical problem solving and hands on work
