JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Director Finance, IT Portfolio Management, here at Honeywell, you will be in a highly strategic and influential position responsible for leading and overseeing the critical investments in the IT Portfolio for Honeywell. As a Senior Director, you will play a critical role in driving strategic planning and analysis initiatives to optimize operational efficiency and drive growth.

You will report directly to our and you’ll work out of our Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA location.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and oversee the Investment Portfolio for the IT function.
  • Track projects from ideation through execution.
  • Responsible for ensuring On Source of Truth is updated and maintained, in coordination with the IT functional team.
  • Manage cost and CapEx impacts throughout the year, and ensure that shifts in schedule are reflected in the forecast.
  • Support senior leadership presentations across a variety of strategic topics.
  • Develop relationships across the Honeywell business to ensure tight alignment on project alignment, prioritization and benefits.
  • Knowledgeable of accounting concepts and how to apply to an IT scope. Partner with IT Controller on critical policy decisions.
  • Strategic thinker to support IT CFO in key initiatives.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in finance roles
  • Some experience in managing a functional budget, including Capital Expense.
  • Some experience supporting the IT Function.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving targets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to provide actionable insights.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes.
