Thewill be responsible for specifying, designing and maintaining automation equipment, tooling and applications as required to meet specifications.
Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:
- Design, engineer, and modify existing and new moderately complex manufacturing assembly equipment, tooling and applications.
- Establish technical manuals, drawings, models, training documentation, preventative maintenance plans and troubleshooting guides for troubleshooting guides for assembly equipment and process.
- Understand the machine operating principle, Consequence of wear and tear parts and product Defects
- Ensure the uptime of machines through regular preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance
- Provide feedback to improve the design of process and equipment.
- Coordinates maintenance activities with other functional groups such as engineering and operations to ensure the efficient operation of the departmental function.
- Collaborates and offers input to planning, building, and maintaining assembly equipment process for new products.
- Identifies and drives change to ensure effectiveness of existing processes.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- 5 years of related experience
- 2+ years of medical device experience
- Strong Solid works experience
- URS experience
- Plastic design (prefer)
- Injection molding experience (prefer)
- Test equipment (prefer)
