Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Development, Business Management, Communications, or related field AND 5+ years sales, marketing, or business development experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience increatinghigh impact and engaging event,marketing,orcommunication strategies

Additional or preferred qualifications
  • Preferred understanding of Microsoft's go-to-market strategies
  • Passionate, results-driven, and organized approach; with an attention to detail: A self-starter who can create and deliver scalable plans from concept to delivery, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, effectively driving to measurable results.
  • The ability to work cross-team in ambiguous and changing environments, along with good listening and partnering skills.
  • Proven Project Management Expertise:Demonstratedtrack recordof successfully managing complex projects from initiation to delivery,showcasinga hands-on approach to project execution, risk management, and achieving measurable outcomes within set timelines.
  • Partner engagementexpertise:Passion for delighting partners, advocating on their behalf, creatingpartner experiences,telling their stories,and understanding the linkage between these experiences and businesssuccess.
  • Executive Relations: The ability to interact confidently with senior leaders in ahighly matrixedorganization to present/defend/clarify concerns or issuesregardingan existing project, program, or solution. This includes the ability to confidently addressdifficult questions, handle pushback from a high-level audience, andmaintainan executivedemeanourwhile engaging in sometimes high-pressuresituations.
  • Partner Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.

Responsibilities
  • Create and executebi-annual Partner Advisory Council (PAC) eventincluding stakeholder and budget management, overall event management with event agency, content reviews, and creation of communications plan to ensure all stakeholders and partnersremaininformed and engaged throughout the planning and event process
  • Lead cross GTM team workstream effortsfor Microsoft first party events and collaborate with Global Partner Marketing Managers onthird party event strategies
  • Develop cross team plan for educating and activating regionson key partnerevents,marketing activities,and GTM benefitsto increase consumption
  • Collaborate with global events team on identification of featured partners and ensure a positive and high value experience for each partner during first party events
