Required/Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C#, .Net, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.
• Experience building highly scalable services (API, backend).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure,AWSor similar cloud computing platforms.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer scienceor related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python ORmaster’s degree in computer scienceor related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.

• Solid design and coding skills with a bias for architecture at scale.

• Experience creating, developing, delivering, deploying, andmaintainingonline services.

• Lead efforts and discussions for the architecture for products/solutions (ex.- design, cost).
• Create proposals for architecture and design documents, identification of dependencies, technical decisions.
• Partner with project management team todetermineuser requirements, KPIs & success metrics.
• Lead by example and mentor others (through code review) to produce extensible and maintainable code used across products. Lead efforts to optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to improve performance and maintainability, effectiveness, and return on investment (ROI).
