What the Candidate Will Do

• Data analytics: Develop market intelligence reports or metrics, quality control processes, and build insights based on those analyses and reports.
• Business Sense: Monitor, understand, and interpret key operational and financial metrics to help figure out strategy and action plans. Develop and apply an understanding of the levers that move our business.
• Problem Solving: Identify the root cause of risks and opportunities, propose multiple, practical solutions, and weigh tradeoffs to recommend best approach
• Process Optimization: Implement, optimize, and scale core analyses and processes across Latam and beyond, regularly reviewing performance.
• Stakeholder Management: Maintain productive working relationships with immediate team and cross-functional partners across operations, marketing, customer support, product, policy, and legal to scope, test and implement initiatives.
• Strategic Ownership: Support specific analyses, annual strategic planning, and multi-year visions to achieve the best outcomes for Uber

Basic Qualifications

• Years of Experience/Industry: 1+ year
• Education : We encourage people from all backgrounds to apply -> suggested Market intelligence, consulting, strategy, Economics, and/or Engineering.
• Data analytics: Exceptional Analytical, Excel, and data management skills. Proficiency in languages and tools like SQL (Python preferable) to work efficiently at scale with large data sets, passion for data needed!
