As a Data Center Operations Manager with Amazon Web Services you will support the National Mission in a challenging, but rewarding environment.This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
Key job responsibilities
• Prioritize and assign trouble tickets to data center technicians and operators
• Routinely review ticket queue for large events and address accordingly
• Coordinate change management resources
• Guide, train, and educate data operations technicians on the best practices related to all service owner issues
• Manage and deliver mid-size projects
• Recommend, document, and oversee policies and procedures to meet industry best practices and to meet required SLAs
• Manage a diverse team of data technicians with varying skills
• Provide weekly report to the data center cluster manager
• Maintain the on-call schedule coordinating absence and vacations
• Recruit and train data technicians to ensure appropriate staffing levels
• Host weekly staff meetings
• Write and deliver performance reviews for staff

- Associate's degree or above, or Cloud+ or GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) or GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials) or SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner)
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- 2+ years of managing personnel or equivalent leadership experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years of experience in a Data Center environment.
