As aSenior Manager of Project Managementat Capital One, you will drive strategy and execute on high priority projects for the company. General Responsibilities:

• Drive routines that provide appropriate visibility into the performance of each Technical Project Management (TPM) focus area

• Track active work, risks and issues and report progress toward top level goals and key milestones

• Enable delivery by supporting planning, resolving impediments and communicating risks via relevant routines and decision cycles throughout the delivery lifecycle

• Ensure clarity on key outcomes and facilitate results by partnering across the organization, breaking down silos and synthesizing information.

• Provide metrics and visibility into the performance of run the engine work and leverage that information to drive improvements

• Partnering cross-functionally with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery

• Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments

• Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive project efforts

• Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment.

• Display a passion for coaching and developing a team of associates through their leadership style

• Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience

• At least 8 Years of Project Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters or MBA degree

• 9+ years of Project Management experience

• 2+ years of People Management experience

• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
