Description
- Design, integrate, and correlate rack-mounted test equipment such as combiners, attenuators, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, RF switches, and power meters.- Write test scripts using a buildup environment to automate measurements.- Perform RF system characterization measuring EVM, spectral mask, phase noise, gain, noise figure, IIP3, and many other radio parameters.- Ensure automated test coverage meets the test plan requirements- Generate RF test reports by curating large data sets.- Innovate and challenge the status quo with ideas to improve test automation, test speed, test tools, data analysis & presentation, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum BS.
  • Excellent scripting and debugging knowledge in any of the following: Python, C/C++, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of RF TX, RX, PLL transceiver chains, and general wireless systems measurements (i.e., IP3, NF, ACPR, phase noise, lock time, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
  • MS in CS or EE.
  • Experience in RF test development, debugging, and reporting.
  • Hands-on knowledge with RF calibration of path losses using a network analyzer,
  • Strong RF background and familiarity with RF systems fundamentals.
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,900 and $183,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
