Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in public relations, media relations, or communications.
Experience working within the traditional media and digital landscape in Québec.
Ability to communicate in English and French fluently to develop internal communications in both languages to our employees.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience working in large brand consumer or technology communications.
Experience managing a third-party external agency.
Understanding of Google’s tech and business priorities and strategy, and how we could make a bigger impact – not just within one product or business area.
Ability to think, plan and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized fashion, and work efficiently with a global team of colleagues and cross-functional stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively and maintain good judgment in fast-paced, dynamic environments, and escalate appropriately.
Ability to work with colleagues in different countries and understand cultural differences.
