This particular position in the Connected Aero organization is for an energetic, experienced and strong team player to take end-to-end ownership in developing complex cloud-based, enterprise-grade software applications. You will use your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. You will also generate innovative solutions in work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-end solutions for end users and product development in a DevSecOps environment

Leads and participates in the SDLC activities related to the design, development and maintenance of the Forge for Airlines products

Lead, translate customer requirements onto SW requirements and recommend technology strategies, processes and methodologies.

Exhibit strong analytical, requirements, software development skills and apply these to improve and sustain the quality outcomes

Provide transparency into planning, implementation status, risks, etc.

Ideate and translate the competitive knowledge as Intellectual Proprietary and help building healthy program roadmap for the connected AERO.

Own end-to-end software requirements, design, integration, testing, verification & validation and certification.

Willingness to learn and develop cloud adoption plans, application design, and deployment mechanisms

Identifies and recommends areas appropriate for further study and participates in any Proof of Concept projects required to thoroughly investigate architectural possibilities and strengthen arguments for their adoption

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelors degree in Engineering or Computer Science

9+ years of overall product development experience with in-depth exposure to Prodoct development knowledge, Processes, understanding of ARINC protocols A717, A767, Customer exposure, requirements gathering, conversion of customer requirements to SW requirements, System and Software end to end testing experience, Cloud technologies, with an experience in building mission critical systems, and/or Enterprise Security.

Expert technical skills with technologies such as Java/JPA, PostgreSQL, UI Technologies (React and Javascript) to build software that performs and scales in cloud environment

• Proficiency in the technology stack - Java/Struts, Python, Scala, APIs, Microservices, Front-end, UI, ReactJS, backend data management incl. interface with big-data systems, relational databases, SQL, etc
• Product development experience with in-depth exposure to Cloud technologies.
• Experience in developing and consuming web-based RESTful APIs and client integrations using JSON.
• Comfortable working with opensource technologies
• A passion for quality with a test-driven development approach and eye for creating automated test scripts
• Experience with Development Tools for CI/CD, Unit and Integration testing, Automation and Orchestration, REST API, BI tools and SQL Interfaces. E.g. Jenkins, Bamboo.

Excellent track of Quality way of development the SW projects with sustained schedule and cost.

Knowledge on Flight recorders like FDM systems, A633, etc is an advantage.

Must be able to understand different QAR parsers and able to perform data quality check.

Good knowledge in solid design principles and architecture/design patterns.
