Key job responsibilities
• Lead and manage a team that drives organizational standards for operational excellence and resiliency.
• Establish strong relationships with internal and external partners and peer stakeholders to understand and meet their needs while operating existing systems at a high level of Operational Excellence.
• Lead the team thru large scale incident management/escalations to resolve outages and communicate with a global audience and senior leadership.
• Develop and maintain a culture of innovation and operational excellence in the teams.
• Manage the design and development of next generation platform orchestration and automation.• A successful candidate will be an experienced leader with an established background in developing and operating platforms and services, developing and hiring top talent, strong technical ability, great communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a dynamic fast paced environment.

- 3+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Experience in partnering with product and program management teams
- 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience

- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding on AWS Cloud Stack (EC2, Lambda, Dynamo DB, Aurora) would be a plus
- Ability to influence other teams to get a consensus
- Proven track record of creating enterprise-level software - delivering large-scale, highly available systems and quality software products or components.
- Excellent written/verbal communication, presentation, and listening skills, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
- Bachelor or Master degree in computer science or related fields, or equivalent experience, is required
