When you join us, you’ll perform civil design calculations, computer modeling, detailing, and plan set production for highway, roadway, sitework, drainage, detention/retention, and utilities projects with an emphasis on hydrology and hydraulics.
You’ll utilize your expertise to conduct drainage design per the requirements of each project and various clients such as Departments of Transportation, Cities / Municipalities and private owners.
We’ll ask you to prepare drainage reports, feasibility studies and drainage master plans utilizing drainage software – StormCAD, CulvertMaster, FlowMaster, HYPoack, and MS4 solutions. You’ll also need to utilize hydrology / hydraulic software – HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS and SWMM.
As a key member of the team, you’ll prepare engineering documents, construction cost estimates and attend kick-off and design review meetings, and interact with clients as level of experience progresses. You’ll provide mentorship and guidance to more junior staff and serve as an expert to highway and bridge designers.
