As a Client Onboarding Analyst in Asset and Wealth Management you will be part of the team responsible for setting the tone of our client relationships by ensuing their accounts, products and services are available quickly and seamlessly. You will learn the account and product setup process from end-to-end, including collecting and vetting client information and eligibility for products and opening accounts for use. You will work closely with our front office banking and operations teams to capture client preferences and configure products. This hands-on learning opportunity will expand your knowledge and understanding of the Asset and Wealth Management client segment and product offering.
Job responsibilities:
- Identify and prefill account opening documentation for distribution to clients for review and execution.
- Review and interpret client-executed documentation while serving as the point of contact for account opening status and reporting issues.
- Provide subject matter expertise to business partners on required legal documentation and onboarding guidelines.
- Discuss and escalate complex issues surrounding client types, financial products, and other risk-related issues with Compliance.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and tools through engagement with transformation teams.
- Coordinate with JPMorgan partners who have account opening responsibilities.
- Review client data and processes to meet firm-wide quality standards.
- Provide efficient email management.

- Must have at least 2 years of financial background experience and be highly organized with the ability to prioritize workload to manage concurrent tasks and meet competing deadlines.
- Ability to influence stakeholders using effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eager to learn new or unfamiliar subject matter and apply it to real-life scenarios.
- Ability to navigate unstructured situations and resolve exceptions to ensure an optimal client experience.
- Willingness to proactively address conflicts and escalate issues with a risk and controls mindset.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Experience in client onboarding, account opening, underwriting documentation analysis, or a related field.
- Anti-Money Laundering or Know Your Client background is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with high levels of commitment and motivation.
- Capability to work in large teams and possesses good interpersonal skills.
