Expectations and Tasks:

  • Generate demand, manage the pipeline, and close opportunities.

  • Create opportunity plans that highlight compelling solution value propositions.

  • Collaborate with the broader account team on sales initiatives.

  • Manage customer relationships at both the solution area and buying center levels.

  • Advance opportunities for cloud migration, expanding accounts, or entering new accounts in the solution area.

  • Utilize a comprehensive understanding of company operations, business models, strategies, and processes.

  • Stay informed about SAP’s competitors and their value drivers.

  • Leverage SAP’s extensive team of experts and industry insights to effectively address customer needs.

  • Encourage customer participation in relevant SAP communities, programs, and events.

  • Foster collaboration with the partner ecosystem.

What you bring:

  • Strong presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to build relationships and quickly gain the trust of C-level executives.

  • Highly professional written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.

  • Capability to work effectively in a sales team environment.

  • Proven expertise in contracts and negotiations.

  • Experience driving renewals and robust commercial support skills, especially subscription-based services.

Work experience:

  • I have over five years of proven success selling enterprise software in customer-facing roles, particularly in Procurement, Finance, GRC, and order-to-cash SaaS solutions.

  • Previous software sales experience in Procurement, Finance/AP, Treasury, or ERP.

  • Experience in demand generation using the latest digital and social selling techniques.

  • Knowledge of the financial, competitive, and regulatory environment.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, management, information systems, finance, procurement, or a related field.
