The team you will be a part of

The team designs and develops highly integrated System-on-Chip optical engines for Telecom, Data Center and Networking applications. The team is looking for a RF Test Engineer to characterize and test very high speed electro-optical devices and to develop test platforms for both R&D use as well as for manufacturing. You will be primarily responsible for test infrastructure development and design verification testing on novel electro-optic devices. You possess a wide variety of skills in the lab and have a desire to learn.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
  • Design and execute experiments to characterize photonic and electronic integrated circuits.
  • Collaborate with the design teams to incorporate test results into improved designs.
  • Develop automated wafer and chip test stations for accurate and repeatable data acquisition.
  • Integrate and automate commercial hardware platforms for use in test platforms.
  • Design, evaluate, and improve custom hardware using computer-aided design (CAD) software and rapid prototyping tools.
  • Support the adaptation of the test station from the R&D phase into high-volume manufacturing test platforms
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, physics or a related field
  • Laboratory experience with high speed RF measurement equipment
  • Experience developing software in Python, MATLAB, or C++
  • Ability to analyze measurement data to extract parameters and performance metrics
  • Experience building and debugging complicated test systems
  • Ability to independently interface with vendors and other third parties
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
