Your Role and ResponsibilitiesYou are comfortable working with other SREs, developers, and support to help provide value to the broader organization. You take opportunities to fix problems and step outside your comfort zone to develop your skillset.
In a typical day on this role, you will interact with Linux, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, DataDog, Docker, Terraform, GitHub, Confluence, Jira, Slack, and AWS. If you don’t know all these tools, don’t worry, we are not expecting that you know them all, we understand that technology evolves quickly.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience in a large-scale, distributed Linux/Unix environment
- Experience with container and scheduling technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
- Familiarity with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with declarative infrastructure tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Understanding of IaC, GitOps, CI/CD and SRE principles
- Ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience with any high-level programming languages (Golang, Python)
- Experience with Observability tooling (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog)
