Essential Responsibilities:

  • Delivers complete solutions spanning all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (design, implementation, testing, delivery and operations), based on definitions from more senior roles.
  • Advises immediate management on project-level issues
  • Guides junior engineers
  • Operates with little day-to-day supervision, making technical decisions based on knowledge of internal conventions and industry best practices
  • Applies knowledge of technical best practices in making decisions

Expected Qualifications:

  • 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

As Senior Software Engineer, you will participate in all phases of our software development lifecycle from design, architecture and planning to development, testing, deployment, monitoring and beyond. You will be responsible in delivering an industry leading product and directing its next phase of growth. You will deep dive and implement robust solutions to complex problems. The prospective candidate will be an individual contributor working with various cross functional groups (business, product, analytics, engineering) and will require admirable collaboration skills. Business acumen, hands-on technology skills, positive work ethic and a collaborative mindset are key to the success of this role.

Your day to day:

In your day-to-day role you will

o Own implementation of amodule/application/product.

o Develop efficient, elegant, clean code with no unnecessary complication or abstraction.

What do you need to bring-

o Solid understanding of Ruby language and working experience in Rails framework

o Knowledge in Java Reactive programming, Spring framework, Spring boot is a strong plus

o Good understanding of web services and related standards like REST/JSON and gRPC

o Experience in Object-Oriented programming and concepts.

o Solid understanding of algorithms and design patterns.

o Experiences in both relational and non-relational DB, like Oracle and Aerospike/Redis

o Experience in Junit and TestNG.

o Exposure to Agile methodologies.

o Strong problem-solving skills.

o Financial or Payment industry experience is preferred.

o Proven track record in delivering highly available, scalable systems on time.

The US national annual pay range for this role is $123,500 to $212,850
