- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- 1+ years of low level C/C++ programming experience for Unix/Linux operating systems

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Expertise in Linux/Unix OS concepts such as kernel, file system security and/or and network concepts such as TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, DNS
- Experience in network data path, socket, & POSIX Multi-thread programming
- Experience in Linux kernel development and optimization using eBPF, DPDK, etc
- Advanced design and development skills for high-volume production applications
- Proven track record of delivering end-to-end software projects with geographically distributed teams
