Senior Manager, Program Manager

This role will manage the Bank Modernization Program's governance forums, agendas, action item tracking, program reporting and drive continuous process improvements across the Program Management Office.

Candidates should have a passion for technology in financial services, strong strategic command, an engaging executive presence, exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills, expertise in relationship-building, and the ability to manage large complex programs with energy and excitement. General Responsibilities:

• Work on large scale projects across the technology organization

• Drive projects based on defined priorities; ensure scope of deliverables, timelines are met; identify risks and issues and mitigate or escalate as needed

• Plan, design, manage and execute project plans to ensure delivery. This activity includes management through feasibility, design, planning and implementation.

• Leverage problem solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and maintain key project documentation

• Build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional key stakeholders to understand processes and drive results

• Identify ways to improve and streamline business process

• Exhibit a proven track record of project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work

• Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes

• Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• At least 5 Years of Project Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree

• 6+ years of Project Management experience

• 3+ years of Project Management experience within the Technology industry

• 2+ years of Jira experience

• 2+ years of Confluence experience

• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Strong problem solving and influencing skills

• Work experience achieving results with complex projects

McLean, VA: $170,800 - $194,900 for Sr Manager, Project Management Richmond, VA: $155,300 - $177,200 for Sr Manager, Project ManagementThis role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
