As a Senior Materials Management Analyst
, you will support our Aerospace procurement function in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities:
- · Analyze and review of the material consumption rates, inventory levels, and demand patterns to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize excess inventory
- · Manage gas turbine engine stock within the warehouse of the engine service center and the end user in Singapore for efficient storage of materials, proper handling of goods and materials, and timely distribution of goods and materials
- · Provide information and purchasing signals to customer’s material manager to ensure timely replenishment of spares and rotable units and to initiate component repairs.
- · Working in collaboration with the Demand Manager to ensure effective and timely demand forecasting in support of the Overhaul, H.S.I and Unscheduled Engine Removals of the engine.
- · To attend regular Program Management Reviews and Material & Demand Management Reviews to present on actual versus planned consumption and provide recommendations to ensure stock levels are optimized through the life of the program.
- · Coordinate with the service center to resolve general logistics and critical supply shortage problems.
- · Assist the service center with the return of failed components to Honeywell’s repair shop for repair, replacement or special inspection
- · Monitor supplier performance and work closely with suppliers to resolve any issues or delays
- · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for materials planning and procurement
- · Utilize data analytics tools to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement
- · Participate in inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
- · Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
Key Experience & Capabilities:
- · Preferably Engineering background with knowledge/understanding of Mechanical Engineering
- · Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Procurement/ Supply Chain Management
- · Proven experience in Aerospace/Aviation industry
- · Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- · Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- · Proficiency with computers and MS Office suite of software packages.
