As a Financial Analysis professional in our Asset & Wealth Management, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm
As part of Global Finance & Business Management you will be responsible for partnering & supporting the AWM Technology line of business. You will be required to partner across the firm to provide financial and strategic analysis, oversight, and coordination of budgeting and forecasting. The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team is responsible for a wide range of activities including financial control, forecasting and budgeting, analysis of financial/business metrics, delivery of weekly/monthly/quarterly management reporting, development of new reporting capabilities (e.g. dashboards), managing cost allocations and advising the line of business CFOs on how to optimize costs and efficiencies.
You will analyze, prepare, and reconcile accounting and technical data as well as prepare reports, while always thinking of and devising ways to streamline and minimize cycle times through automated applications and process improvement. You will also help develop recommendations effecting business procedures and operations and maintain financial and reporting systems. In addition, you will assist the department and other team members with special projects or components of other projects as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- To support and manage Technology Allocations –
- by understanding various business drivers and the ensuring that the allocations charged are accurate
- answering queries pertaining to various timelines and providing satisfactory rationale behind variances observed and questioned
- Participate in the global annual planning process for expenses & headcount including finalizing financial systems by loading the budget numbers. Develop, consolidate and present insightful and robust financial analysis including annual budget, quarterly/monthly forecast variances. Provide accurate and timely financial reporting and business reviews that provide clear, impactful explanations of operating results and variances based on relevant business drivers, and help ensure expense goals are achieved
- Produce executive presentations, analysis and supporting materials for key internal clients including senior management. Participate & support ad-hoc analysis by working & analyzing large data sets and presenting meaningful information
- Drive process improvement to enhance reporting and gain efficiencies. Capable of completing reporting and analytics accurately under pressure and tight deadlines
- Build models for expense forecasting and allocations. Build and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders. Proactively take ownership of financial data and elevate any issues
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Minimum of CA or an MBA in Finance is required with 6-8 years of FP&A experience, in Financial Services industry
- Advanced skills in Excel, and a hands on experience with tools like Hyperion Essbase, MS Access, SAP, Tableau, Python and Alteryx will be an added advantage
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Positive attitude and demonstrate intellectual curiosity
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to comprehend & clearly communicate complex concepts and maintain composure in a large group setting with multiple stakeholders
- Sound judgment, professional maturity and personal integrity, strong work ethic, proactive and results-oriented, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Candidate must be comfortable with frequently changing priorities. Highly motivated and able to thrive and think clearly under pressure and tight deadlines
