Articulate compelling global and regional investment themes, effectively positioning our solutions and strategies internally and externally
Help develop and communicate the organization’s market and economic views, and how these views translate into portfolio strategy
Thorough understanding of portfolio construction, risk management issues, and quantitative methods for evaluating investment portfolios
Implement best practices in investment research methodologies among the team continuously reviewing research processes to enhance breadth, accuracy and high quality of data research
Mentor and develop capabilities of research analysts on the team
Establish and conduct risk assessments in current research practices
Must have marketable communication enabling advisors to maintain strong relationships with clients by providing sound fiduciary investment management advice aligned with CIO's investment strategies
Monitor investment themes and support the development of asset allocation views
Qualifications:
Advanced Technical knowledge of asset allocation and portfolio construction
Attention to detail in financial modeling and forecasting
Thorough understanding of risk management issues, and quantitative methods for evaluating investment portfolios
Experience applying financial modeling and statistical analysis tools
Knowledge of a wide range of asset classes, financial instruments, and strategies
Strong client-facing skills
Excellent communication skills
Proven Partnership and Collaboration skills
Research content must be marketable and actionable
Travel: 25%+
Education:
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics or related field. Master's degree strongly preferred
Minimum of ten years in investment research or portfolio management of ultra-high net worth clientele
Profession certificates such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) is a plus
