The Role
A strong candidate is proactive, detail orientated and able to remain calm under pressure. They can handle a variety of projects in a fast-paced work environment and they are eager to learn. They will play a critical role on a small team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supporting the delivery of Pan-EMEA Communications campaigns, activations and narratives that scale across the region
Leading on logistics such as booking travel, organising agendas, updating itineraries and scheduling external interviews
Facilitating efficient work and collaboration between different internal teams (across departments and geography)
Updating & maintaining various lists, documents, and charts on the department’s Google Drive and other duties as assigned
Tracking budgets, raising POs and managing invoices
Researching new opportunities for media and stakeholder engagementHelping to build and maintain relationships with EMEA wide media and stakeholders
Qualifications
At least 2 years of PR/communications/marketing/policy experience.
Proven communication skills; must be articulate and professional both in written and verbal form
Confident, articulate and not scared to speak up or challenge.
Scrappy, resourceful and relentless in finding a solution before escalating issues.
Demonstrates good judgment and strong critical thinking skills
Ability to work proactively, independently and reliably under tight timeframes in a fast-paced environment
High level of organisation, detail orientation and ability to time-manage across multiple deadlines
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally
Have a good understanding of local cultures across the EMEA region.
