Job Duties: Analyze requirements and prepare design, and develop robust, scalable software systems using object-oriented programming. Work with relational databases to facilitate server-side development. Work with other engineers, Architects, Product Management, QA, and Operations teams to develop innovative solutions that meet business needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, realistic implementation schedules and consistency to development principles and product goals. Develop robust and scalable software systems. Monitor and test newly implemented applications for reliability, security and performance. Ensure code quality and maintainability by evolving architecture and tech stack, refactoring, standards and improving build and test systems. Develop automated tests and deliver high-quality software code to production within a short development cycle in the continuous integration and delivery environment. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance.

Job Description:

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or a closely related field. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered as a software engineer or a related occupation.

Special Skill Requirements:

1) Spring framework and REST API
2) Object-Oriented Design Principles, Data Structures, Algorithms, SQL/NoSQL
3)Web technologies (such as HTTP, HTML/DOM, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX)
4) Database design and operation with Oracle database system.
5)Web Services, SOA concepts
6) Message broker structure. e.g., Kafka, AMQ
7) Functional programming language.
8) Data visualization
9) Microservice
10) JavaScript programming
11) Operating Systems and Software Engineering

Experience can be gained through academic coursework, scholastic achievement, or work experience.

Additional Job Description:

$135,283-176,000 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
