Analyze production requirements to purchase raw materials in accordance to vendor arranged lead times and MOQs Complete monthly inventory counts
Collaborate with vendors on continuous improvement initiatives (pricing, packaging, volumes, lead times, etc)
Manage open orders to ensure on time deliveries
Maintain material specific master data such as safety stock
Analyze usage trends to establish optimal inventory levels and safety stocks
Collaborate with Global Supply Chain and other West Facilities on the management of network controlled materials
Investigate and implement corrective actions when material outages occur
Collaborate with Site Planners to ensure production schedule changes are supported
Support site inventory initiatives and audits when applicable
Support/facilitate production variance analysis to determine root causes of any misses
Support/facilitate Supply Chain initiatives to consume at risk material timely and according to deviation work instructions
Participate in cost savings / Kaizen projects as applicable to operational material consumption and transactional management
Supports plant operations as needed while the site is running production for materials within portfolio
Comply with the company’s safety and quality policy at all times

High School Diploma required
Bachelor's Degree Business or relevant field preferred
Work Experience
Minimum 3 years in supply chain preferred
Sound knowledge of MS Office and SAP (MM/SD module) required
Experience developing master production schedules, and resource planning preferred
Basic knowledge and understanding of APO/SNP (SAP’s Advanced Planning and Optimization tool) preferred
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Previous manufacturing work experience
Experience with SAP, MES programs, Database programs
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Detail oriented with exceptional time management and multi-tasking ability
