AWS Applied AI Solutions - Life Sciences org is working on a new AI agent(s) application in the clinical trials domain. Clinical trials are the most time consuming and cost heavy step in bringing new therapeutics to market and we aim to automate and accelerate this process resulting in better health outcomes for patients.We are in early parts of our journey towards a private preview launch by end of year. The system tackles complex orchestration of multiple AI agents working in concert across different clinical data sources, requiring sophisticated real-time data harmonization and decision-making capabilities. Engineers will solve challenges around building explainable AI that meets regulatory requirements, while handling intricate data relationships across millions of structured/unstructured data points from global clinical trials.Preferably we would like someone who has built AI agents and has some domain knowledge. But a willingness to learn (and be curious) is important.

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
