In this role within the Infrastructure & Engineering Services team, you willthe latest technologies with a focus on security, identity, and automation, empowering Microsoft employees with the tools and services that define both the physical and digital future of work. You will alsobe responsible foradministering on-premises Hyper-converged Infrastructure (HCI)

This role facilitates hybrid work, with the on-site work being based at the Redmond, WA headquarters.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years technical experience in service engineering
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience with security, identity, and automation.


Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Active Directory, Group Policy, and Certificate Authorities/PKI.
  • Understanding of security protocols, authentication, and authorization methods.
  • Experience with automation tools and frameworks.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communicationand collaboration abilities.
  • Relevant certifications in security and systems engineering are a plus.
