Datacenter Operations
- Empower a culture of safety, security, and compliance in all aspects of datacenter Critical Environment (CE) within your Region.
- Accountable for the ongoing Critical Environment (CE) support for all service lines ensuring the on-time and defect-free delivery of customer capacity within our SLA commitments.
- Collaborate with Metro Directors to ensure operating CE procedures are documented accurately and that appropriate training for all field operations processes and procedures are in place.
- Evaluate, strategically optimize, and drive a program to gain efficiencies in short- and long-term utilization across our data center fleet.
- Employ clear lines of communication and feedback considering lessons learned between field operations and peer teams related to data center Critical Environment (CE).
- Represent field operations needs and interests ensuring the highest standards in quality, reliability, availability, and safety are met.
- Act as the champion for the CE Management community driving standardization, efficiency, and partnering with our innovation teams.
- Manage escalations and issues that may arise by partnering with peer organizations to ensure appropriate resolutions are sought and implemented minimizing impact to service delivery.
- Operate as central point of intake track and prioritize the portfolio of data center projects across your region.
- Evaluate project scope and resource capacity expectations/asks/assumptions for all project activities that touch the field.
- Foster an understanding of the various stakeholders, their interests, and needs ensuring the teams can sustain and embrace the changes through clear communications, engagement, and appropriate governance throughout field operations.
