Work closely with manufacturing to establish processes andprocedures to ensure consistently high quality and analyze and interpret dataindependently to anticipate potential problems and take preventative action
Utilize product quality plans and control plans,maintain quality performance metrics, and drive issues to root cause solutions
Work with Manufacturing Engineering to have a processthat meets the product specification and tolerance and audit the manufacturingline against released manufacturing processes and procedures and process andimplement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) as required
Assist in the identification and resolutionof incoming material and manufacturing quality issues, contain partsor products as needed, sort parts for quality requirements, and analyze anddisposition component and product defects as a member of the Material ReviewBoard
Participate in continuous improvement activities with manufacturingand take part in an ongoing optimization of the products concerning both costand production technology
Work with Supply Quality Engineering and Suppliersto maintain adherence to specifications that support productionrequirements
Support FMEA activities to identify design andmanufacturing issues and mitigate risks. Provide Design for Manufacturabilityfeedback to Engineering, as well as participate in DFM reviews
What You’ll Bring
3+ years of experience within quality systemsin a high-volume manufacturing environment
Experienced in QS-9000, ISO/TS 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA,DFMEA, PFMEA preferred
Strong aptitude with electronic and manual test andmeasurement systems
Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanicaldrawings and wiring diagrams
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment,ability to lift and sort parts of up to 30 pounds as needed
Ability to use technological tools and business systemapplications to manage, synthesize, and interpret data
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices, 5S, TPS,TQM, etc. are highly desired
