Job Description

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be managing the customer experience. You will be in charge of growing revenue for a specific territory's install base of customers. Be a liaison between the customer and the various departments within Akamai.

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing client relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Developing strategic sales plans to maximize opportunities in your accounts.
  • Becoming a trusted advisor and ensuring customers get value out of Akamai's platforms

  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have fluent Japanese skills, both spoken and written
  • Show proven experience of being persuasive, influential and professional on the phone, webex, social media and email
  • Have a passion for technology, Cyber Security, Cloud Compute and Enterprise security solutions
  • Show some experience with accurate forecasting and pipeline management
  • Have a verifiable track record of success and goal attainment in a sales-oriented role within IT
