Responsibilities
- Provide L1 support for all disk storage related issues across the enterprise
- Respond to and assist in production operations in a 24/7 environment
- Provide support to and coordinate with internal users, operations staff, and vendor resources for root cause analysis
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support based on escalations
- Provide technical analysis, resolve problems, and propose solutions
- Participate as a resource for project driven initiatives
- Identification and automation of manual tasks using scripting and application development
Knowledge and Experience
- Mid-level experience with a variety of disk storage subsystems and SAN switches including Hitachi, Nimble, NetApp, Qumulo and Brocade.
- Deep understanding of SCSI, NFS and CIFS protocols
- Disk Storage configuration management experience
- Hands on experience with storage-based replication technologies
- Automation tools
- Good English speaking and written skills
